In the QMarket platform, both sellers and buyers are equipped with inboxes, allowing them to engage in direct communication with one another.

This feature facilitates seamless interaction, enabling users to discuss products, negotiate terms, and resolve any queries or issues efficiently.

Users can contact sellers in 3 ways.

  1. Default in-app chat during booking.

  2. Contact on the listing detail page.

  3. Contact on the vendor profile page.

How To Enable In-App Chat On Listing Detail Page?

By default, In-App Chat is enabled for both sellers and buyers after booking. To enable In-App Chat on the listing detail page.

  1. Go to your admin panel.

  2. Select manage order type.

3. You can create or edit the existing order type.

4. Upon scrolling, you’ll find a tab “Allow users to contact seller from listing details page”.

5. Now the users in your marketplace can contact the sellers on the listing details page.

Note: To allow your users to attach images or files in the chat, follow the below step. You users can only attach an image or file up to the count of 5 with 25 MB (each file/image 5MB).

6. Enable the toggle bar near the “Allow image and file attach option on chat page”.

How To Enable In-App Chat On Profile Page?

To enable In-App Chat on the profile page

  1. Go to your admin panel.

  2. Select User Preference.

3. Enable the toggle bar near “Allow users to message each other freely”.

4. Now the users in your marketplace can contact the sellers on the profile page.

Note: To allow your users to attach images or files in the free chat, follow the below step. You users can only attach an image or file up to the count of 5 with 25 MB (each file/image 5MB).

5. Enable the toggle bar near the “Allow users to attach images and documents on the message”.
