How Does Listing Re-Availability Work?

  1. Initial Booking: When a buyer books a long-term rental, the listing is automatically removed from the search results to indicate it's no longer available for new bookings.

  2. Enabling Listing Re-Availability:

    1. After enabling long-term rental, you'll find an option labeled "Listing Re-Availability."

    2. Activate the toggle bar to enable the listing's re-availability feature.

  3. Setting Re-Availability Days:

    1. Once enabled, you'll see a number field.

    2. Enter the number of days before the booking period ends when you want the listing to be visible again to other users.

    3. For example, if a booking ends on July 10th and you set the re-availability days to 5, the listing will become visible in search results starting from July 5th.

How Does The Initial Rent Payment Type Work?

  1. To make the listing long-term, the seller needs to enable the toggle near the “Long-term rental.

  2. Sellers have the option to select their initial rent payment type.

3. There are two ways to pay the initial rent payment.

a. Only Security Deposit - If the seller selects this option, the buyer has to pay the security deposit as their initial payment.

How Does Recurring Payment Date & Payment Reminder Mail Work?

  1. Recurring Payment Date: This is the date when the recurring payment for a long-term rental is scheduled to be processed each month. You can set this date to any day between the 1st and the 25th of the month.

  2. Payment Reminder Mail:

    • Positive Values: If you set a positive value, the reminder mail will be scheduled after the recurring payment date. For example, if the recurring payment date is the 5th and the reminder value is 2, the email will be sent on the 7th.

    • Negative Values: Setting a negative value schedules the reminder mail before the recurring payment date. For instance, with a reminder value of -2 and a recurring payment date of the 5th, the email will be sent on the 3rd.

    • Zero Values: Setting a zero value schedules the reminder mail on the recurring payment date.

Note: You can schedule 3 reminder mail. It can either be completely positive or negative or can be Zero or combinations. But you can only schedule 3.

3. Content of Reminder Mail: On the payment reminder date, the user will receive an email notifying them about the upcoming payment. The email will include a link that directs them to complete the payment.

4. Booking Chat:

  • On the payment reminder date, a payment button will appear in the booking chat associated with the rental.

  • Clicking on this payment button will redirect the user to the booking page where they can proceed to complete the payment for the upcoming period.

This system ensures that users are reminded about their recurring payments in advance and provides them with a convenient way to complete the transaction through the booking page.
