Types Of Booking Available In QMarket

There are major 2 types of booking in the marketplace are

  • Availability Booking

  • Non-Availability Booking

Availability Booking

This refers to a reservation system where customers can book services or resources based on their availability. For instance, a customer can reserve a hotel room, a seat at a restaurant, or a rental car by checking when these services are available and booking them for their desired time slot.

Day Booking: A day booking is a type of booking that allows a customer to reserve a product or service for a specific day. For example, if an event rental offers day bookings, a customer can book the event rental for a specific day, but not for a specific time within that day.

Hourly Booking: An hourly booking allows customers to reserve a product or service for a specific duration of time, usually in hours. For example, if a car rental service offers hourly bookings, a customer can reserve a car for a specific number of hours, rather than for a full day.

Night Booking: A night booking is similar to a day booking, but is specifically for reserving a product or service for a particular night. For example, a hotel may offer night bookings, which allow customers to reserve a room for a specific night, but not for a specific time within that night.

Non-Availability Booking

This refers to a reservation system where customers can book services or resources anytime. For instance, a customer can reserve a hotel room, a seat at a restaurant, or a rental car by time by contacting the owner.

Free Booking: A free booking is a type of booking where no payment is required upfront. For example, if a restaurant offers free bookings, a customer can reserve a table without any payment.

Inventory Booking: An inventory booking refers to a type of booking where the availability of a product or service is based on the inventory that the business has in stock. For example, if you are selling 100 mobile phones, an inventory booking system would only allow 100 bookings to be made.

Apart from these two booking types, we have other 2 booking types.

Inquiry Booking: An inquiry booking is a type of booking that allows customers to inquire about a product or service, without necessarily making a reservation. For example, a customer may inquire about the availability of a particular room in a hotel, without actually making a booking. Also, can book without having to pay a deposit or make a prepayment.

Unit-Based Booking: This type of reservation enables customers to book according to specific units, such as per night, per day, per hour, or tailored to their requirements.
