How To Disable A User Account In Your Marketplace

You can disable the user account by following the below steps

  • Login into the admin panel.

  • Navigate to the user management in the header.

  • Disabling the “Status” toggle in the user management list screen.

How To Enable A User Account Again In Your Marketplace

You can enable the user account by following the below steps

  • Login into the admin panel.

  • Navigate to the user management in the header.

  • Enabling the “Status” toggle in the user management list screen.

What Happens When I Disable Someone's Account?

Users will lose access to the marketplace content. They cannot create listings, view marketplace pages and perform any transactions or contact any users of the marketplace. Their existing listings will be closed and ongoing transactions will be suspended. They won’t be receiving any emails from the marketplace.

What Happens When I Enable Someone's Account Again?

On enabling, they will gain all access that other normal users have. If the user had open listings when you disabled their account, these will close and stay closed even after you enable their account. The user will have to open their listings themselves after their account has been enabled again.

Can A Disabled User Account Rejoin My Marketplace?

Not unless they use another email address. Users with the disabled user's email address will no longer be able to join your marketplace.
