In QMarket there are 5 listing preferences that allow you to control the listings.

  1. Enable featured listing( For custom landing page)

Enabling featured listings in a marketplace can be beneficial for both the marketplace itself and the sellers who list their products or services. Featured listings typically refer to products or services that are highlighted or given greater prominence within the marketplace's search results, category pages, or other areas of the site.

2. Display listing type on search page list view

Upon enabling this option your marketplace listing will be displayed in a list view.

3. Display the publishing date of the listing on the listing page on the search page

Upon enabling this option your marketplace listing will display the published date of the listing on the listing page.

4. Allow users to post reviews to listings (viewable to all other users)

When the listing review process is enabled, vendors who post a listing will have to "Submit it for review," instead of posting it immediately. After a listing has been submitted for review, administrators can review it. Administrators can find listings pending approval in the "Listings" section in the header menu in the Admin panel. Vendors can browse all their listings from the "My Listings" section of their user account.

  • While a listing is pending review, it won’t be visible to anyone other than administrators and the seller who created the listing.

  • If the admin rejects the listing, the seller will be notified and the listing won’t be published. However, sellers can still edit it, make changes and submit it for a new review.

  • If the listing is approved, it is published immediately and can be viewed by all other users and visitors.

  • If the seller edits a previously approved and published listing, it will become hidden from other users until the admin approves the edit.

5. Review all listings before they are published

In some marketplaces, reviewing all the listing content before it is visible to all visitors is key to building trust. You can enable a feature that allows administrators to review all new and edited listings. They can be approved or rejected.

How To Enable Featured Listing Functionality?

  • Go to Admin-> Site Setup

  • Open the “Listing Preference” under the Listing Settings.

  • Make the toggle On for the following setting “Enable featured listing functionality

This will work only on the custom landing page

How To Display Published Date On The Listings?

  • Go to Admin-> Site Setup

  • Open the “Listing Preference” under the Listing Settings.

  • Make the toggle On for the following setting “Display the publishing date of the listing on the listing page on the search page

How To Display The Listing In List View?

  • Go to Admin-> Site Setup

  • Open the “Listing Preference” under the Listing Settings.

  • Make the toggle On for the following setting “Display listing type on search page list view.

How To Enable The Listings Review By The Admin?

  • Go to Admin-> Site Setup

  • Open the “Listing Preference” under the Listing Settings.

  • Make the toggle On for the following setting “Review all listings before they are published.”

How To Activate The Public Reviews For The Listing In A Marketplace?

  • Go to Admin-> Site Setup

  • Open the “Listing Preference” under the Listing Settings.

  • Make the toggle On for the following setting “Allow users to post reviews to listings.

Now users can post public reviews on the listings.
