How To Add Currency?

We all know your business value and expansion globally. The online store expansion allows you to grasp customers from any country easily. Integrating facilities to your website that are responsible for maintaining the customer base easily. Adding currency plugins in the settings from the QMarket store surely allows you to set product prices in different currencies. The steps to add the currency are as follows:

  1. Go to the admin panel

  2. Click the Site setting icon on the header

  3. Find and select Currency Management in general settings

  4. In Currency Management, click Add Currency button.

  5. Upon clicking you’ll see the following fields

    1. Currency Name

    2. Currency Code

    3. Currency Code Display

    4. Currency Symbol

    5. Currency Symbol Display

    6. Display Decimal

    7. Number Format

    8. Currency Rate

    9. Status

  6. Click the Currency Name tab, and now you can see the predefined Currencies. Choose any one of the Currencies

    1. There are 172 pre-defined currencies available in QMaket. If you wish to add new currencies apart from the pre-defined currencies you can directly enter the currency name and click the add button.

    2. Note: When you select the currency from the default your currency code, Currency Symbol, and Currency Rate will be set automatically.

  7. Once you select the currency name, fill out the other fields and click the save button.

Besides the default currencies, you can integrate the currency as per your country. This permission is only for our enterprise users.

Note: If you are in a trial period, We allow you to add as much of the Currency you want to add for you to understand the function but be careful with the Currency that is set as default when you decide to buy [Essential Or professional or Business plan], once you Enable Purchase the Plan from trail to Essential or professional or Business, we will restrict you to add or edit your language

How Can I Delete A Currency?

Yes, you can delete the currency. To change the currency status follow the steps below,

  1. Go to Admin-> Site Setup.

  2. Select “Currency Management” in the payment option.

  3. Select the delete icon near the currency you want to delete

  4. Confirm the “Yes” in the popup to delete the currency.

  5. Click the Save button.

Note: In two cases you cannot delete the currency

  • Case 1: Currency used in Listing/Order type

  • Case 2: You cannot delete the default currency.
